The problem with kill team is it references a lot of universal special rules for the leader and specialists that simply don't exist anymore. The basic premise is still workable but 40k itself is much easier to play at that smaller scale. Take like 10 power points or something and go.

 

Shadow war and kill team are very different games so I doubt the intent was for one to replace the other.

The Tau quote is wrong in that PDF. He wouldn't be calling a enemy human "gue'vesa" (human/lowest being ally/servant) he'd call them "gue'la" (human/lowest being).

 

Yeah...they think more of orks than us :(

 

But orks are unredeemable and marked for extermination, and we can better ourselves by joining the Greater good etc. so...there's that.

 

(But Farsights group is a true meritocracy where even non Tau can succeed beyond their station)
