Flier changes

Anyone else notice that fliers start on the table now? Since troops disembark at the start of the turn this still doesn't give them a T1 charge, but it does mean that there's no more paying through the nose for a unit that may not see action for a significant part of the game. Additionally I don't see anything about vehicle facing and shooting, so it sounds like we no longer have to worry about the shape of the Stormwolf preventing us from getting all weapons to shoot the desired target, from the way I read the rules, it seems like I can even shoot all the Stormwolf's weapons at a target directly behind the model since facing no longer matters.

Am I reading this wrong? Have I missed something?

I noticed the facing and shooting thing in some battle reports. I was a little skeptical, I don't know why they have spell out pivot, move, no pivot, thing if facing dosen't matter (for shooting or armour).

Because fliers going supersonic get one 90 degree turn at the beginning of their move, and if they can't complete their minimum move without leaving the table, are destroyed. Weapon and armour facings no longer exist but you still have to track movement if they're 'flying'.
