Stewie_Mc Posted June 15, 2017 Share Posted June 15, 2017 Hi all, I apolagise if this is the wrong forum for a random single model but i thought id post t as m so chuffed with it, I've been fan if the lore and models for donkeys years but never actually played a game I've dabbled in painting with friends spares kit bashing but that was like 10 yrs+ ago. with reading about 8th coming it really peaked my interest so i bought some spares and bits of afew ebay listings and this is my first model, not sure on a colour scheme yet but he is going to part of my custom chapter maybe my CM http://i.imgur.com/cuBPpcj.jpg?2 http://i.imgur.com/OFVsZRn.jpg?2 Any thoughts and tips would be greatly appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Major_Gilbear Posted June 15, 2017 Share Posted June 15, 2017 Looks like a good start - and he seems very Dark Angel! My only two tips so for you so far are: Use a small file and the side of a sharp knife to make sure you remove all the mould lines and sprue mounting nubs. This will help you when you come to paint it. Using a small pin vice drill, carefully drill out a shallow hole in the end of the plasma pistol. The guns can't shoot if their barrels are solid!
