Well, it's gone midnight in the UK, so I've got my digital copy of the forgeworld book.

The Repressor is a WS 5+ W12 Rhino

With a Heavy Flamer, Stormbolter and a Dozer Ram.

Dozer Ram is S: User (so 6) AP -1. Against infantry you get three hit rolls for each attack on the turn you charge. (So effectively nine attacks on the charge if undamaged)

Also, and this is big Fire points. Up to six models (armed with whatever) can shoot out. They count as moving if the vehicle moved.

It's also unaccountably two points cheaper than a Rhino base. But you have to pay for the Heavy flamer, so it's 15 points more expensive than the Rhino overall.

Oh, yes, you can buy it an additional storm bolter or heavy flamer, if you really would like.

Nothing else for us in this book. Flyers in the IG book which is out next week.

Yeah, a double heavy flamer repressor is 4 points more than an Immolation Flamer Immolator.

Which is a little silly, for that four points you get:

Fire points
The Ram
More Wounds
More transport capacity.
A Stormbolter

But, you do lose out on flamer range. The Repressor mounts normal Heavy Flamers with an 8" range. Immolation flamers have a 12" range.

Also, not sure how you would model on that extra Hvy Flamer.

Wow, those are some sweet rules! It's too bad I don't own any repressors :P

Brace yourselves for marine players complaining about how OP it is :teehee:

It's nice that we get something so unique in this edition (fire points), and it sounds like it can almost hold its own in cc but it does feel a but undercosted. Not sure what the logic was there. Maybe they just feel bad for us because we're Sisters :D

Thanks for the info!

Thing with fire points. I mean, they rock. But they do anti-synergise with our faith mechanic a little bit.

true. It isn't  fun, but now you can (arguably) advance with the repressor and fire flamers/meltaguns from inside the vehicle :biggrin.: when before you were limited to 6" if you wanted to really use the fire points (vs 12+d6" now)

Oh, and do note that the Immolation flamer is an assault weapon while the heavy flamer is a heavy weapon, so you can't fire the repressor's flamer(s) if you advance.

That is... remarkably powerful. Kind of a no brainer replacement for the rhino.

Are many of the the forgeworld units like that?

Doesn't that mean you can stick on the second Heavy Flamer and essentially have a substantially better Immolation Flamer Immolator for only a handful of points more?

The difference is range. The Immolation Flamer has 4" more.
