Version 2.01 went up yesterday, with support for 40k 8th edition.

The data authors have also posted data for 8th edition.

Full change notes, download links etc are on the BattleScribe site: https://battlescribe.net/?tab=news

It's early days, but there's already been an update to the data so make sure you refresh or.

No idea on fw stuff, but I'm sure they're on the case.

I'm so happy we had those early leaks. Gave the amazing peeps from the battlescribe community time to get it all updated and mostly working day 1. Amazing job.

The exact opposite can be said for GW though! They had months of planning and still haven't got an army builder up...

does anybody know, is there a way to make the rules text appear in the separate entries for each unit instead of at the end of the html output? I figured out how to get the miniature and weapon profiles, and the rule names, separated out into each entry but not the rules text. I'm hoping I'm just really blind here...

Hello, sorry for the Necro-post.

I am attempting to find out what my 8th Ed. list looks like currently, and despite updating to the most recent WH40K data files, there are no units to select from within the SW Super Heavy Detachment. I can add the Detachment to the army list roster, however, as typed previously, there are no available units within said roster to include into my list.

Please advise.

If I'm understanding your problem right, it's because Space Wolves don't have any LoW. When you make the detachment, make sure the army list is right. So either Astra militarum for baneblade varients, FW adeptus astartes for FW LoWs, etc.

Thanks, that should work, if I assume Battlescribe will permit it to be a list that is still valid once filled in.

I shall attempt this workaround now.

Yeah I wouldn't know any super heavy for Space Wolves specifically aside maybe from FW stuff but I'm not sure if those were already included in their Imperial Armour Index.

It's not a workaround. That's how it's intended to work.

And whether the list you click together is legal or not depends on what you do with the program. It's not an official app by GW and it doesn't enforce many rules about list building but rather gives warnings when something's not legal most of the time.

Sorry, I got it to work. Thanks.

I just personally would rather FW not require one non Relic SH per Relic, but, I guess that may change, or, possibly, not...

Thanks again, folks.
