I'm probably going to go back and add more gems to Red and Green to bring them in line with Blue.

 

For the curious, the Craftworld is Jaz'Hans because I unwittingly modeled them all with jazz hands so why not?

Since Slipstreams has gotten the ball rolling on this topic, I'll get some of my stuff out of the way. My preferred taste of the rainbow is Lugganath Eldar (orange), who have a close relationship with corsairs and Harlequins (troupes to come later).

This is a very fledging Craftworld force that is a slow burn build. I'd like to do more on them, but having a family and fifteen-twenty projects at a time tends to stifle any kind of quick turn-around.

Kizzdougs, that Farseer is amazing. I didn't have the courage to paint freehand over the robes of my Farseer. Did you paint the robes first or the freehand images?

 

I also really like Honda's grav tanks. They really look like they are make from an organic, bony material, it's a great texture you've achieved.

 

I've got a few pictures of my Ulthwé stuff. It's an army that still hasn't properly got off the ground but I've painted some of the centerpiece models.

 

Most of the detail on my Forge World Avatar was decals rather than freehand, only the Avatar rune is hand painted. You can tell because it's a little bit elongated but overall I'm happy with the result. The decals were from old 2nd edition transfer blister packs.

Yeah, I painted the freehand once the robes had been fully painted. It would be incredibly difficult to paint the robes after and around the freehand :tu:

Wow,  that's an amazing army Gawfang. The Base of the Phantom is really detailed too.
