Now the rulebook fluff is out do we know much more about the crusade Primaris forces? Pictures really.

I'm really interested in the mixed geneseed forces, angel Primaris in mixed squads alongside wolves, ravens, and scars, etc. I really like the idea of this bonding together the old legion conflicts.

But I can't quite imagine how the armour will look with the grey chevrons.

So, has anyone seen any pics or tried a take on the scheme?

It was disbanded in the book pre DG vs UM in the book. Since the starter set begins at DG vs UM, i doubt we are going to get and official pics. I imagine it exactly what it sounds like, take a first founding symbol and slap a grey chevron and boom done. They only have the chevron over their chapter insignia.

Sounds like the army would look like the Old School Red Corsairs, back in the days when they kept their chapter colours and just slapped red crosses over their iconography.

Yea similar idea though something tells me they wouldn't appreciate the comparison.

I liked the idea of marines from different backgrounds coming together like that. It can make for some great stories, shame they disbanded but I guess that's what the Deathwatch are for. Though they seem more squad based spec ops while the greyshields are virtually a Legion.
