Hear da Lamentation
What do the Fang think about this. Wulfen ignore wounds taken on a 5+. Does that include mortal wounds? I don't see where it says it doesn't include them ... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/335217-mortal-wounds-and-wulfen/ Share on other sites
Bartali
This stems from the Avatar of Khaine's FNP-like ability specifying 'Wounds' AND 'Mortal Wounds'. The Wulfen's ability (and most other FNP equivalents) say 'Wounds' only The GW faction focus seems to imply it's rare that the Avatar can ignore Mortal Wounds "’d be remiss, though, not to mention the man himself: the Avatar of Khaine. With an ability that means he can even ignore some mortal wounds," Edited June 19, 2017 by Bartali Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/335217-mortal-wounds-and-wulfen/#findComment-4789597 Share on other sites
Macabre Slanneshi Prince
It doesn't matter how you lost the wound, you'll save for each wound lost. It's not a save, it's something after. Against something like a Lascannon doing 6 wounds, you'll be rolling 6 Death Frenzy rolls. Hear da Lamentation
I think it's because the Eldar are such a bunch of girls they can't FNP mortal wounds. Valerian
They ignore the wounds; doesn't matter if they were mortal or not. Same goes for Bjorn and everyone else that gets an FNP style roll these days. Hellrender
Yes wulven can save mortal wounds it seems. Mortal wounds say that you cant roll any save and go straight to allocating the wounds. Wulven rule says that you can roll each time you lose a wound. Since a mortal wound goes straight to allocating wounds, i would guess that you cant take an armour or invul save, then allocate the wound to a wulven, which then 'takes a wound', which. In turn triggers death frenzy. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/335217-mortal-wounds-and-wulfen/#findComment-4789649 Share on other sites
Runefyre
They ignore the wounds; doesn't matter if they were mortal or not. Same goes for Bjorn and everyone else that gets an FNP style roll these days. This^ Doesn't matter whether it's from regular damage or a mortal wound, they both cause a model to lose a wound.
