Stormraven Gunship

Apologies if this is in the wrong section...

 

Having read the space marines index for 8th I was looking at the stormraven. It reads that it is armed with 2 stormstrike missile launchers. Previously it was armed with 4 stormstrike missiles and the the model features 4. Have we lost 2 missiles now? As that's how I read it...

 

Edit: or is it an unlimited amount since there's no one use only rule? Haha

Unlimited ammunition and you have the option to fire each missile bank each turn following the stats for the weapon.

 

At least that's how I see it.

I believe the launchers in question refer to the launchers physically present on the model, which contain 2 missiles each.

 

I'd play it like a Typhoon launcher or the twin linked missile launcher found on the Land Speeder Tempest. The Tempest has 8 missiles physically present, but you'll be able to fire it 5 times in a 5 turn game. That would be 10 missiles fired.

 

Tl;dr: I don't think it matters how many missiles are physically on the model any more.
