My First Game of 8th Was Nuts

First up , I  used to be called Bladewolf , I am now Lord Blackwood , and ive been working on getting my knight house to all rock the same heraldry 

 
 
 
First off  it was a 4 personal king of the hill style game contested at 91 power level

I  won the game 

Notes : Wulfen feel overpowered in power level  , Thunderwolves are ok but noticeably weaker offensively , Longfangs are awesome , Rerolling 1s without needing a babysitting is legit ,  Knights feel a bit .... weaker ?  I dunno  my paladin did okay but I largely dealt with the anti tank on my side of the board quickly ,and the xenos tangled up against each other pretty hard.  

Further Notes : Primaris marines are sorta bleh,  I  probably could have got the same mileage out of grey hunters honestly ,  The Inceptor squad( jump pack dudes ) were pretty solid ,  the hellblasters were okay didint risk overcharging but even without it they were good.

I feel like without their transport  big marines arent anything to write home about.

Yeah i was a little confused how it all tallied into the wolves forum!

 

Roughly what was your list and do you have a rough idea of the other lists? Just to compare

1x Wolf Lord in Gravis Armor  7 Power Level 
Wulfen x5   13 Power Level 
Intercessor Squad x5   6 Power Level 
Intercessor Squad x5   6 Power Level 
Thunderwolf Cavalry x3 8 Power Level
Inceptor Squad x3  8 Power Level 
Hellblaster Squad x5 10 Power Level 

For a Grand total of 91 Power 

 

The Following are Estimations of my Opponents lists 

The Eldar Player rolled with  the Yanari rules
He Fielded a Wraith Lord a Shadow Seer , the Psyker Chick from the Triumverate 
A Wraithknight , 2 units of harlequins , two units of wraitthguard with d scythes  and Wave Serpents 

The Tau player was going for max bodies 
Two Hammerheads , 15 Vespid , 3 Units of Fire Warriors  2 Broadsides 3 Crisis suits 1 Commander 1 Etheral ,  20 Kroot 
A bunch of drones  

The Chaos Player rolled with 
20 Pox Walkers in two sets of ten in Rhinos ,  2 Helldrakes , a Lord , a Blightcaster , 2 units of havoks , a unit of bikers , a lord on a bike 

The game was pretty fun , though I  will definitely say the more I reflect on it the more dissapointed I am in thunderwolf cavalry. 
Wulfen are essentially just better than them.
