Greetings frater,

I'm in need of some advice! I've been repainting my Blood Angels recently, and just noticed I made a mistake.

So, here is an example of the color scheme I've gone for...

And here's an example of the Corbulo I'm almost done with...

Now, Corbulo is obviously still WIP, but he's far enough progressed for me to realize he's going to be brighter than the rest of the army as you can see here...

Turns out my problem is two fold.

(1) I have 6 Tactical Squads, 2 Assault Squads, 5 Terminator Squads and assorted HQ choices that all share the darker scheme.

(2) I think I like the brighter scheme more.

Here's the question. What would you do? Repainting the 100 odd models in the brighter color? Repaint Corbulo in a darker shade, knowing you won't like it as much? Or suck up the fact that he'll stand out for more than the disco pose and blinged out drinking stein he carries everywhere?

Any other comments as to which scheme you prefer, criticisms and advice will also be gratefully accepted.

Cheers,

Widowmaker

I just started touching up my imperial guard that were from the Foundations paints era now that there are much brighter reds around. I got about a dozen models in (of about 150 finished infantry plus a dozen tanks) and just said Nope! My characters will just be extra pretty.

Do whatever you want as far as repainting, but make sure you commit. One slightly bright character won't look as odd as a force that's 1/3 in a different red ;)
