So I'm supposed to be working on a vow of two axe dreads, bjorn, and 3 drop pods.  Progress is being made, but 8th edition has distracted me and I thought I'd share with the class.

Here's a couple of conversion attempts.  Got a wolf lord in gravis armor, and a vulkafied lieutenant.

Slapping some color on the Inceptors.

Given my compulsive need to run TWC, figured I'd throw this guy into the mix as well. Gotta finish claws and details.  I left his pack off so I could paint that separate...my feline got ahold of it and mangled it pretty good.  I was able to glue it back together and it should be mostly unnoticeable from the front, though the bone halo is pretty obviously out of shape from the rear.

Yeah, that's a razorback under construction.  I have a couple already, but they're painted under a previous iteration of talent and I guess I have a compulsion about starting fresh when I want to try a better overall look.

The Conversions are great! Looking like Wolves in an instant. But the main reason for my Reply: the light blue parts of the Inceptors armour look sooo great! How do you do these smooth transitions? And: Is this still Fenrisian / Russ Grey?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks, Filius!  I'm essentially attempting a feathering technique there.  I airbrushed the fang as a base, then layered on russ grey and then fenrisian grey in progressively bolder layers towards the edge.  This is a time consuming technique and I'm still learning/working at it, but I like the effect so far.  Super glad it was noticeable!
