The question I have is with the champion of the Kingsguard rule. The rerolling failed hits is obvious however the following is a bit ambiguous "you can make 1 extra attack in the fight phase for all models in friendly wolfguard units within 6" of arjac at the start of the phase" at first I took this to mean arjac would get bonus attacks for each wolfguard model near him. However I have seen some interpret it to mean the wolfguard models are getting the bonus attack. I believe it is meant to be a buff for arjac alone. Am I mistaken?

I do see your point, the issue I have with that interpretation is that it does not say" wolfguard models make one extra attack" but rather "make one extra attack for each wolfguard model within 6".with all other buffing rules from HQS it clearly uses the keyword relevant when it applies to units. Take the thane to the king entry in arjac profile "you can re roll wound rolls of 1 for friendly space wolves units that are within 6" of this model." Couple this with the fact that most aura buffs affect units, not models within a set range, and I am leaning more towards the buff being for arjac to turn himself into a blender.

Yep. Even though Fluff wise Arjac is a Wolf Guard, rules wise, he is not.

Check out his unit entry - he has the Wolf Guard keyword.  So, he gets a (single) extra Attack during the Fight phase for being within 6" of himself (see Character aura rule in the core rules section), and any other Wolf Guard keyword units, (which includes Wolf Guard, Thunderwolf Cavalry, and even the Wolf Guard Battle Leader) also get an extra Attack per model.

Its a little abivilent but i think its supposed to be WOLFGUARD each get +1A.

That wouls make sence, fighting by grimnars champion you would want to impress so you fight harder.

Rather than he smugly out performs each and every one of you! And the more of you there are the smug-er he gets

If you refer to the Character rules in BRB, it specifically says that Characters benefit from their own auras. The Keyword Wolf guard is the, well, key to determining who benefits. And Arjac definitely has Wolf Guard in his key words. Ironically fellow Wold Lords, who should have been former Wolf Guards, don't get it. Then again, their own auras affect all Space Wolves, regardless of rank.
