aluriel00
Can you fall back out of combat if hit in the rear? What if you are surrounded? What if you are pinned against impassable terrain? Is there a minimum distance you must stay from opposing troops? What happens if you can't get that minimum distance? I'm thinking of hitting high value, low cc ability units with bikes in front after dropping jump units into their rear and wondering how this would work. HenricusTyranicus
You have to be able to move at least an inch away from any enemy troops. You can't move through them. If you can't do that, you can't move at all, and remain in combat. So yes, it's possible. Gherrick
Whats interesting is the new rule about breaking unit cohesion. Since the defender decides which model takes the wound, it is possible to break cohesion, resulting in the unit not being able to move at all (according to latest faq). This is very likely if you are trying to preserve "special" models in the unit, such as the PL or model(s) special weapons. Keep this in mind when allocating wounds. Valerian
You can still move if you've broken coherency. You just can't move at all if you can't regain coherency with the move, which is highly unlikely. Your models would have to be over 14 inches apart.
