TheTrans
Ok guys, had a (IMHO) great idea on how to get conscripts fluffily into our DKOK (or any other that wouldn't use them) armies. Indentured Citizenry! We've all read dead men walking, how the DKOK have no qualms about training up citizens to become soldiers.. but imagine one step down from that, I could see them happily arming the masses to fight for them! So the next question is, does anyone know of some good 'normal people' models that are of a similar scale to FW's Kriegers and Elysians that I could convert up? Thanks in advance! Withershadow
Try Victoria Miniatures, they have the widest selection of alternate Guard models. I am tempted to buy a kneeling greatcoat gasmask squad and give them sniper rifles for Krieg "ratlings". TheTrans
Do like the vik minis, any idea how they scale with the DKOK. Also looking more so for civilian and refugee minis. Withershadow
They scale very well, I've seen a guy use them alongside Grenadiers and they looked like they belonged in the same army. WarriorFish
Depends how civilian you want them to look, but there are quite a few good third party providers around now - here's a list Ulrik made that should help :tu: duz_ 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/335879-dkok-conscripts-fluff-and-a-request-for-model-options/#findComment-4802963 Share on other sites

Mitchverr
If you want DKoK looking models for cheaper pricing, go to anvil industries, they have a "platoon builder" under regiments where you can pick and choose the heads bodies etc to get a very DKOK look (either with the german helms and the skul mask for grenadiers or british brodie helmets even). The more you buy in the platoon system the cheaper it becomes overall with reguards to squads (iirc it drops by £1 each new squad added so say the 2nd squad is £25 the next is £24, then the next is £23 and so on). You also can add more heavy weapons and special weapons squads etc to the order easily on it. I had made an order which had a platoon command, 8 squads of inf, 3 sqauds iirc of special weapons and heavy weapons for like £280, which is a pretty good deal overall compared to other sites for good custom looking models. Die4Emprah
I have 150 of the "bulk cadian" models that I use for conscript squads. They're of a different scale than dkok, but they're easily distinguishable. They're also rather hearty, so they can take abuse. Conscript models tend to get clumped, pushed, piled.... the thin joints of dkok or more realistic scale models make for a lot of glue use. duz_ 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/335879-dkok-conscripts-fluff-and-a-request-for-model-options/#findComment-4826139 Share on other sites
Otto von Bludd
For price and quality I don't think you could beat these guys, though they do not look like civilians : http://anvilindustry.co.uk/Tox-Troopers/Tox-Trooper-Squad Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/335879-dkok-conscripts-fluff-and-a-request-for-model-options/#findComment-4829037 Share on other sites
Die4Emprah
^ I like that those are non-heroic scale and would blend better with DKoK models.
