First FAQ released.

Page 116 – Deathwing Terminators, Wargear Options

Change the third bullet point to read:

‘• For every five models in the squad, one Deathwing

Terminator may replace their storm bolter with a

plasma cannon or an item from the Terminator Heavy

Weapons list.’

 

I do not think I was placed in a position where I needed to bring in a squad of Terminators but rather as a Kill Team.  I suppose a five man Terminator squad with nothing but heavy weapons is no longer an option anymore. Thinking on it, this could be applicable if more than one Terminator joins a Kill Team, meaning that both of them may not get heavy weapons. 

 

Page 174 – Deathwatch Terminators

Change the Crux Terminatus rule to read:

‘Models in this unit have a 5+ invulnerable save.’

 

Clears things up especially for Kill Teams involving Terminators. Only Terminators can get the 5+ save  but not the Kill Team they are joined with

 

Page 177 – Corvus Blackstar, Transport

Add the following sentence:

‘It cannot transport Primaris models.’

 

Um..... goes without saying? Especially considering that the Deathwatch cannot field their own Deathwatch Primaris marines at the moment. 

 

Page 220 – Units table

Change the models per unit value for Deathwatch Bikers

to read ‘3-6’.

Change the models per unit value for Deathwatch

Terminators to read ‘5-10’.

Change the models per unit value for Deathwatch

Vanguard Veterans to read ‘5-10’.

 

Oooh, this is good to know. Time to make some corrections to my Index. :)

 

Page 173 – Deathwatch Kill Team, Abilities

Change the last sentence of the Mixed Unit rule to read:

‘For the purposes of determining what models a vehicle

can transport, Terminators have the Terminator

keyword, Bikers do not have the Infantry keyword, and

instead have the Biker keyword and Vanguard Veterans

have the Jump Pack keyword.’

 

Least it's all clear to those who think that a regular Power Armoured Space Marine is considered a TERMINATOR. I've seen people comment about it at one point. 

 

I can't say the same for all factions so far, but so far, the FAQ for the Deathwatch adds very little other than clearing up the already obvious. This will at least get people on the same page even by a little bit.
