I'll be running one pretty soon, and have fairly high hopes for it. The 3++ should increase its survivability pretty well, and its attacks are also pretty solid. One major downside is it doesn't have any ranged attacks, as IMO that translates into a much better target to charge with impunity (no overwatch).

For 145 points, he is sooooo strong, move, advance and pop smoke. He 3++ guarding T7 with 10 wounds, is really tanky, hits harder than murderfang  and are tankier. There is no reason NOT to take him.

Only success with him.

It's great. I faced a 3 Knight list and turn 1 he tanked shooting from 2 Knights. He spent 3 fight phases trading blows with a FW Knight Atropos that was dropping in and out of combat to shoot. I had to use command points to reroll saves when needed but it was very frustrating for my opponent.

The Knight took him down to 1 wound. He took the Knight down to 3 wounds and my opponent made over half of his 5++ saves.

Unfortunately when the Knight was destroyed it exploded and the mortal wounds destroyed my hero Dreadnought.

Im super biased as I've always loved dreads but it's probably my favorite unit we have. The psychological warfare you can wage with them is super great. At this point my opponents shoot it so much that most my units can operate uninhibited. Just watch out for mass damage 2 like rad rounds because so far its the 1,000 scratches that brings it down rather than the dedicated anti armor.

All that and only 145 points? I gotta make mine asap.
