How should I organize an army progress log?

I'm starting my Death Guard Vectorum soon and eventually will also be adding a Nurgle Daemons army as well. What I'm looking to do is to keep myself motivated to continue working on these at a steady pace by showing what I've done, what I'm doing and what I'm planning on doing in each post.

 

So, basically, tell me how to do a progress log on the B&C and how I should set up and prepare to show off and report on my work! I haven't really found any outlines for how to do a blog on the B&C so this would really help me out!

On mobile so forgive my lack of links, but some plogs have used something simple such as a Google spreadsheet, whilst others have opted for something a little more extravagant in the firm of a graphical representation of the content and a traffic light system to say what's done, in progress, and not yet begun.
