Dark Shroud or Dark Talon?

Well I have decided that thanks to the new edition I finally need to get around to adding one of these two models to my collection. Obviously I think I want to get both eventually but since funds aren't unlimited I can only get one for now.

 

So what is the general consensus on which is better overall for all comers lists? Thinking the Dark Shroud looks like it'll buff the army a bit better but the damage from the Dark Talon is very tempting as well.

Right now seems the Dark Shroud will give you more bang for the buck because it will make your army more difficult to hit. Milleage may vary but around the Internet the DS seems to be very popular.

Darkshroud, no contest. It'll make your army a lot more survivable. It's a major magnet for enemy fire though.

The Dark Talon is also very good, it's just not as good as the Darkshroud. I would suggest getting two even, to blanket your full army.

Also, easier to fit in, since the cost for the Shroud is significantly lower.

Dark shroud is basically almost auto take. Dark talon is good but nowhere near an auto take

I would also have you look into magnets for swapping between the Dark Shroud and LSV. (See also magnets for Nephilim/Dark Talon)  You never know when you might like to try something different and my LSV did okay last weekend.
