Since it's kind of weird to have so many cannonnesses, especially since I play the order of our Martyred Lady, and Celestine is running around with TWO of my canonnesses, and to fill a single brigade I need at least two more, I was thinking about running Heroes, or notable characters as Cannonesses.

I'm thinking of making a Mirya model (shaving the sides of her hair off on one side), and a Saint Praxedes (since she's rumored to still be around by some)

Are there any more OoML characters that I should be thinking about?

Also, does anyone know where I can find more information on Sisters Oblatia? I feel like they could be used?

Great Idea Beams! Really hope they bring back Palentine's and Veteran Seraphim back as a HQ choice, to help alleviate the number of Canoness's.

Wasn't Ephreal Stern from Daemonifuge Order of our Martyred Lady? All she needs is a fancy power sword!

Sorry to be a noob, but was does OoML mead? Thanks :D

Dark Heresy Inquisitors Handbook, first edition - page 78

There was a canoness errant in one of the recent books called Setheno.

You could also shoehorn a few of the other named characters (rules) into roles, such as fielding Inquisitor Lok as an Oblatia, Strakken as Cardinal Helfire, or Creed as Helena.

Palatines, Veteran Sisters Superior, Canoness Superiors... there's plenty of ranks that could be utilised to give us different HQ options. Fingers crossed for the 'dex. It'd be nice to get a generic HQ Priest option too - a Cardinal, or Arch-Confessor, maybe.

You got it, OOML is order of our Martyred Lady.

I'm trying to figure out how to make an Ephrael Stern. Im not sure how to convert a seraphim model and make it good, haha

I like the idea of Lok as an oblatia...

Thanks for the info! I'll have to track that book down

Actually, there's an official Epheral Stern model. It's kinda old, and rather uncommon, but it exists (I know a guy who has one). It's nothing too special, but if you're looking to be entirely authentic . . .

As for other OML characters, i only know Praxedes and (presumably) Veridian. Of course as a Major Order, they would have a goood number of Canoness Preceptors and Canoness Commanders, but I don't know if any other named ones off the top of my head.

Ephrael Stern

I swear I saw that exact, identical, image on a FB Sisters of Battle group I'm a member of...

Probably someone with the same initials...

One of these days i'm going to have to get around to doing Praxedes and Helena, as soon as I find the mordemheim Bertha figure going for something less extortionate.

If you haven't yet, be sure to check out the Lexicanum.

Canoness Agnes and Sister Miriya from "Hammer and Anvil" are in OoOML.

So, as of now I have:

  • Celestine (Old Model-Painted, new Model-Built)
  • Eleanor (Built, Partially Painted)
  • Genevieve (Built, Partially Painted)
  • Sister Miriya (Built and Painted, Custom Haircut)
  • Fallen Sister Mirael Sabathiel (Heavily Converted, Painted, for when I end up on the Chaos Player's team...)

Planning on finish painting E&G, and then start working on:

  • Ephrael Stern (Sidenote: What would you guys run her as? A Canoness? A Librarian? Celestine?)
  • Saint Praxedes (Need to source another cannoness model, and a power maul. Also a suitable head.)
  • Canoness Agnes (I need to read these books...)

From there, I'd like to look into Setheno, but I don't know anything about her, so I'll track down the books that she appears in, and figure out what colors to paint her, what to arm her with, and what conversion I'd have to do. Should be a fun project.

Hmm, good question. Librarian for access to DtW and a jump pack I guess.  An Inquisitor with jump pack would be ideal (3S and 3T like other humans) but they can't take them.
