Opinions wanted on Deathguard scheme!

Left, rusty armour and verdigris trim, or right, painted armour with rusted trim? Neither model is finished, just testing to see which scheme I prefer before I commit

I prefer the one on the right. It still has patches of rust, but with the green stands out as more iconic 'Death Guard'. Whole rust just seems a bit excessive to me.

Liking both, but the left one is perhaps more unique. You'll see many DG with a paint scheme similar to the left one (because it's good). I'd go full rust and verdigris.

I actually really like the left rust scheme.

I'd say a mix of both. A little lighter on the rust on the left marine, with some small patches of green. But I'd combine both schemes throughout your army. Would indicate a time line of your force, newer guys less rusted/decayed than others that have been there far, far longer.

I think the left model is the more interesting out of the two personally. Both varieties look good though.

I say mix in some of both techniques. They look quite good together.

Personally, I like the rusted-out look of the left over the more traditional green. The idea that metal rots differently than flesh is something I really think translates well into a Nurgle army.
