The Blood Crusaders - Biglou's Successor W.I.P. Thread

Since I've started my own homebrew Blood Angels successor chapter, I thought I'd start to keep a log of progress, army lists, and lore all in one place. I've painted my first few squads and tanks and Would like some feedback on the colourscheme in paticular. I'll start to add more about the lore and background of the chapter as I complete more models.

 

I'll probably write my lists as if they are blood angels, and come up with alternative names and lore for the blood angels characters so I can still use their rules.

 

Main colours: Weathered Bronze, Very dark pink, Silver.

 

Here are some Veterans with power weapons, Accompanied by a las/plas Razorback.

Basecoated:

15x Sniper scouts

Corbulo (havent thought of equivalent name and lore yet)

5x assault marines (with plasma loadout)

1x razorback

10 sternguard veterans

 

 

Any Feedback on the painting, or suggestions for lore would be greatly appreciated, though i know i've still got some more detail work to do, and the bases need doing. I'm very happy with the name, and quite like the colour scheme but would be intrigued to see what others thought - Biglou

I like the name and the colour scheme, although it looks a little monotonal with everything being so dark. Have you thought about adding some decals to the shoulder pads and sides of the tank? Also maybe some more of the dark pink would work on the tank - on the recessed panels at each corner for example?
