Please meet the first Primaris Black Templar Chaplain. Had to be done in preparation for the model release. Spare Lieutenant, my spare Ancient will become the Apothecary.

And yes, that's a Dark Angel Interrogator Chaplain crozius there. He wasn't using his anymore anyway.

So if you use a Terminator Shoulder Pad on a Primaris, they would look like a True Scale Space Marine.... good to know...

And even though I hate Primaris and everything they stand for, well done Kastor

Thanks! :)

That was kinda the point to make him truescale. And the Lieutenants have PA shaped pads with that TDA shape "tongue" on the bottom anyway.

He wouldn't have used it as well. A Black Templar Chaplin though... He knows how to use a crozius. Straight shot to the face.

Hm, I never saw it before, but I'm disappointed by that purity seal.  The way it melts into the torso with that wide edge brings back annoying memories of the backs on (specifically GK) Terminator legs.

The Dark Angel crozius displeases my Reclusiarch proclivities.  Trophies from fallen traitors are one thing, but nothing can replace a proper Paddleum.  ;)

The CSM helmet don't bother me at all because of how cleanly you've removed the filthy heretic-arrow. Rather, the fact that he has TDA shoulder pads and a Dark Angel crozium sticks out to me like a sore thumb.

Aside from that I really approve his templar- and chaplainification. Good job.

Just check out, they already have pads with a "lip" and the size is just the same. The DA crozius is both "I like this bit a lot", "we're all Angels of Death" and "I like the background idea that he fought alongside a DA Chaplain who died, so he took up the crozius in the fight and later felt compelled to become a Chaplain himself".

those pads have mk7 style rims, and don't have the... "missing sections"... towards the front of the pads that terminator pads have. But fine, they the sticking down middle thing :tongue.:

Nice work, y'all gotta stop making Primaris look good :D

I don't mind the DA crozius much, but it would look a lot more fitting if he had a big honking cross on it like Grims or similar. Maybe a bit of greenstuff to form one around the angel? :/ I do really like the use of BT bits around the model as that sets it apart from the basic primary school marines and the head looks spot on, I've used chaos bits myself so you won't hear me complain ;) I'll second that a tabard or at least half tabard like the EC would really help sell it for me.

Not a GS sculptor yet, unfortunately, but I might have an idea or two how to make a cross on that - though I think it will make it too large.

What do you guys think about the rear swinging lanterny bit? I hope it conveys dynamics nicely.

I've also just finished a Primaris Imperial Marine and showed it along with the Chaplain here:

:smile.:

Cmon Kastor, you need to keep up. Chaplains now use a pimp cane, not a crozius

Sete, I'm not sure what's happened to you recently Brother, but this recent snarky attitude instead of your usual hobby enjoyment does not suit you at all. Please give it a thought and at the very least keep it out of my project threads. I will not have my enthusiasm spoiled.
