radionausea
I bought the triumvirate today for Celestine. I'm going to magnetise her wings but she still looks very delicate and difficult to carry safely. How have the rest of you been carrying her? I was going to buy a KR Multicase for my fledgling (slowly growing) Ministorum army, but I'm open to suggestions for any cases she fits in well. Jacinda
I have a pistol case I used for carrying a knight and the old metal Saint C. It had plenty of room to adjust for the new model. The Geminae fit in the battle foam bag with the rest of the girls. Gen.Steiner
I use the old metal Celestine as my 'travel Celestine' :P - her, and the new Super Twins, fit fine in an old style carry case along with the rest of the army. Drider
This is how I do it. Tupperware box with some pluck foam, that I saved from my case, cut down to size and glued in place. It's served me well. I've never had a problem with Celestines. I have only recently had an issue, one of the scrolls on a Geminae broke. A touch of glue and a couple of purity seals and she'll be as good as new once i get them painted and do a little touch up. http://i.imgur.com/qIuhzxp.jpg?1 Here's a pic of the fix on the Geminae. http://i.imgur.com/EKcM3W1.jpg?1 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/336595-carrying-celestine/#findComment-4819261 Share on other sites
CaptainMarsh
She is held aloft by golden foam, set aside and protected by the Emperor's most holy cushions separating her from her Geminae and the rest of the Sororitas. Montford
I have a 2" half tray from Pirate Labs. I cut out one of the interior walls and she lays nicely inside, and the tray also holds her two Geminae, Grayfax, the 7th Ed fallen marker I made for her, two assassins and an Inquisitor. Sister Rosette Soulknyt
To fix the bouncy effect of the Geminae, i drilled a hole and added a piece of paper clip cut down to the resin base, shaping it up to her foot. Then with Green Stuff folded around it i made a second scrolling parchment to match. Once completed you can't tell it from the first and it no longer bounces, it also looks great. As for celestine i've just added a pillar and some detailing to balance her foot, again it stops the bounce. NOw for travel, i think i too will go a plastic container with foam Gen.Steiner 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/336595-carrying-celestine/#findComment-4820593 Share on other sites
ERJAK
I just set her on top of some immolators in the carrying box and don't jostle more than I have to. Tbf, my paintjob isn't really worth expending a whole lot of effort protecting.
