Kastor's Primaris Chaplain and Imperial Space Marine :v

Recommended Posts

Going through my two sets of Primaris Space Marines, I've decided to have some additional fun and mess a bit with the two spare Lieutenants. One ended up as a Chaplain, the other as the unique "Imperial Space Marine". I've shown the former to the Black Templar subforum already, the latter was completed just now.

Enjoy! :biggrin.:

I've decided to "make" special weapons for the dude, necessarily of the same subtype, invert the heatstacks on his backpack, make room for a beakie helmet, etc.;

I hope he turned out just as badass as he seems to me :biggrin.:

They look great, effective conversions. Are you going to use that guy as an imperial space marine? I don't recall one being able to be in a Primaris squad for whatever reason.. considering any marine can be upgraded ( the logic of not being superior is beyond reason ).

Still my only gripe with the Primaris are that they all have the same chest emblems, save for those big knife guys for some reason.

Looking forward to more!

Yeah, I figured since the ISM is a W4 3+ unique Space Marine character, I can just as well represent him with a Primaris dude and create a cool bridge across the SM miniature generations. The 2016 ISM was a shout out to oldest type of beakies, this one is a shout out to their Primaris kin. OBVIOUSLY, it will be painted in Crimson Fists colours.

Chaplain looks nice! And choooooom :happy.: had you considered using a caliver in the rifle hand?

Thanks! I didn't have a volkite caliver, but any excuse to CHOOM is a good one. Also, the ISM has a combibolter, so I wanted to retain the CHOOM part and the ammo box below, so it seems there's a bolter muzzle in the large volkite bore.
