Spiritual Liege
Hello, Trying to figure out my Craftworld if I decide to do one instead of Corsairs and I stumbled (?) on Mymeara. I like the colourscheme and love Shadow Spectres, but there isn't that much information about them. What are they specialized at? What would be fluffy units/playstyle for them? Brother-Chaplain Kage
I wouldn't say they're specialized with Shadow Spectres, it was just their Craftworld that found the Phoenix Lord armor of that lost shrine so he could come back to life, rebuild that lost aspect, and start setting up shrines elsewhere. If nothing else, they've lost a large portion of their population from orks and other enemies and would probably have a higher number of wraith constructs than your average Craftworld, but probably not as much as Ulthwé. Mymeara is something of a blank slate because there's not a whole lot of detailed info about them in the Doom of Mymeara book. Spiritual Liege
Well I was leaning towards a Wraith force supported by heavy armour like Warp Hunters and fliers and of course Irillyth and his Spectres. Xwingt65
The craftworld is know for the quality of its craftsmanship, so it has a large selection of wargear, much of it rare. Other than that, there is not much to suggest them being all that unique. So plenty of canvas for you to do with what you wish. And some jetbikes, one just has to have jetbikes when playing Eldar (or that's what I think atleast) . Anamnesis
It is also written in doom of mymeara that they are know for they firepower, also the wraith are the guardian of the spectre shrine. I'm actually in the same boat as i was trying to define an army for mymeara :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/336844-mymeara-specialisation/#findComment-4826036 Share on other sites
Dulahan
Hammer and Anvil. Anvil being Wraith units. Hammer being Shadow Spectres. Possibly other mobile Aspects.I'm planning to do Spectres, Hawks, and Spiders together for a big mobile force to try and stick to building roofs and such (especially since my main play environment is usually a ton of ruined buildings) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/336844-mymeara-specialisation/#findComment-4826512 Share on other sites
Spiritual Liege
I'll probably leave the other Aspect Warriors out, just because most of the models are so outdated. Something like this: Vanguard: -Irillyth -Wraithguard; scythes -Wraithguard; scythes -Shadow Spectres; 5+Exarch with Prism Blaster -Wasp Squadron; 2x Wasp, dual shuricannons -Warp Hunter; CTM, shuricannon -Warp Hunter; CTM, shuricannon -Wave Serpent; Star engines, vectored engines, dual shuricannon, shuricannon -Wave Serpent; Star engines, vectored engines, dual shuricannon, shuricannon -Wave Serpent; Star engines, vectored engines, dual shuricannon, shuricannon Probably not the final list but something along those lines. A bit spammy maybe, but it feels like Mymeara and I can change it up if someone starts whining too much. You could probably add a wraithseer in there at some point seeing as how that construct is difficult to produce and mymeara has a lot of "relic" equipment. Would also fit in with the wraithguard and shadow spectres as they are either wraith constructs or destined to be so in the shadow spectre's case.
