Schlitzaf
So for context, my Crusade's lore three and half centuries of constant fighting has rendered it depleted. So when the Idomitius Crusade concluded and the Ultima Founding, one of my Marshalls requisitioned Primaris. Additionally having heard of the Grey Shields, mentioned in his requisition was willing to accept any Grey Shield or Unnumbered Son Squads as one of their own. The logic is that Grey Shield Squads were essentially built on the basis of our own Crusader Squads. Groups of friends and comrade joining together. Instead of a presssigned decree. There was/is definite tension between accepting these Squads within my Crusade. But that is neither here nor their. What I am making this thread for is basic conversion to show my Primaris Squads are drawn from a variety of gene-seeds and not just Dorn. However these conversions must be in addition not instead of Black Templars Heraldry. If I screen shot the squad they models should still be clearly Black Templars. But I am trying to think of little non-Saliant Details I could use to display a Squad members Gene-Seed Origin. The first idea I had was shoulder pads and one j am most liking. Have one pad be marked with the symbol of that squad members gene-progenitor. Another was include something like chalice on the pack for a Marine of Blood Angel Gene-Seed. The third and final idea was given I have number of left over Bretonnian Helmets was that the different animals atop Bretonnian Heads were related to the models Gene-Seed Heritage. Anyone else have some thoughts? Kastor Krieg
Kneepads, like in case of CF/BT livery exchange in Declates Crusade? One shoulder pad fully grey and blank?
