=][= The IRON GAUNTLET - Challenge the Third =][=

Brethren of B&C! Weary Gauntleteers! Behold the third challenge of the IRON GAUNTLET! With the initial challenge and the second one complete, we move onto the the third in our series of five to determine if indeed anyone has the chops to claim an Iron Gauntlet. This challenge, seeing as we have had our Gauntleteers draw up a background for their army and, in the second challenge, had them paint it, we now encourage them to take to the field! Show us your strategic prowess and get those dice rolling!

As per usual, anyone can enter. Simple as that. You do not need to have entered the previous challenges to participate but if you haven't, you won't be getting a Gauntlet I'm afraid. However, a nice shiny badge for completing the challenge can be yours - but what rank will it be? Bronze, Silver or Gold?

Feel free to sign up, preferably with a force that has a custom background or is a DIY force of your own making. If you are interested but you aren't sure if you qualify, then please PM me.

The third challenge is as follows:

Challenge the Third

* Bronze: Post a battle report of a game you played with your organisation force created in Challenge #2;

* Silver: Post a battle report, with EITHER pre- and post-battle fluff (500 words each) OR turn-by-turn photos/maps, of a

game you played with your organisation force;

* Gold: Post a battle report, with pre- and post-battle fluff (500 words each) AND turn-by-turn photos/maps, of a game

you played with your organisation force.

-> Duration: Monday 17th July 2017 - Thursday 17th August 2017 (1 month)

Sadly I am not sure to manage to get a game in time. My usuall enemy has birthday next week so I am afraid I can´t play a game in the next three weeks. ( He is away this week and next week he surely celebrates with his family and I don´t know if he has time the weeks following)

Well, I threw in for one and two, since this'll (probably) be the easiest I'll throw in here too.

 

The records are compiled and the Marshalling is complete. Now we shall see if those Marshalled hold up to the standards of their illustrious history. I, Daimyo-Captain Daron Lenoch vow before my brothers and sisters of the Liber to record faithfully some of the first actions of the ForgeChained, and to add to the illustrious history of the Shogun and the Shinsengumi, and submit these records before the deadline. May the Solis-Imperator, the Primarchs Ferrus and Vulkan, and Brother Argos himself curse me should I fail.

 

Hoo boy, that's a lot of big talk. Now I need to go find and ork player or seek out another marine player for either a training op or a training sim, respectively. This'll be fun.

Having left this for late, and getting delayed a day because my opponent had a family thing yesterday, I have a battle to report on-the long and short of it is, fun and brutal. Beyond that is spoilers.

 

We broke a rule for an epic confrontation between warlords, and as it was a 'training exercise' i don't think it mattered to much...had fun for sure.

 

Oh, and the burning blade is SO worth it. All I'll say.

My PC broke down on friday and I don´t know when I get him back.(It seems I get the PC sometimes this week)

We have a public holiday tomorrow so I might get him not in time.

Is it possible, that I contribute my battle report on the next weekend? (of course earlier, if I get him before that)
