Razor saw. They cut literally anything and are pretty easy to use.

I second that.

 

If it is the glued arm, superglue is quite brittle especially when cold, so I'd suggest a half hour stay in the freezer and a gentle snapping off of said arm (holding pieces with a cloth so as not to damage detail on the pewter)

Able to get into fine areas, and doesn't obliterate so much detail - takes a little more care to use (the blades can snap very easily) but it's brilliant for getting into hard to reach areas.
