Marshal Reinhard
Not sure this is deserving of its own topic, but from what I hear it seems that space marine Lieutenants are back for normalmarines now? That'd mean they should be the natural counterpart for our castellans, with Marshals being captains? Do we know if they have any equipment restrictions? Also are we locked out from making "generic chapter masters" now? Anyone know? Need to reclassify all my HQ potentially. Ciler
All the answers you need are here : http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/336954-chapter-focus-the-imperial-fists-crimson-fists-and-black-t/page-7?do=findComment&comment=4828268 Yes there is a regular marine Lieutenant, it equips like a captain. You can "upgrade" a captain to a chapter master by using a 3 CP stratagem at the beginning of the game. It keeps the same stat line but instead of rites of battle (reroll 1s to hit) you get chapter master (reroll all failed to hit rolls). Brother Christopher
I need to get updated on the Codex to form an opinion. Or maybe you could tell me - did GW "fix" the problem with points of primaris and nonprimaris characters? If I recall correctly, I were annoyed that for instance a primaris Standard Bearer was just ~3 points more expensive than a regular marine, with the addition of 1 extra wound and attack. Specifically, I'm interested in the Lieutenants - I think they make up for the lacklustre Chapter Tactics (I really like what the Sallies got, and Lieutenants provide a "similar" buff for my purposes). I really would like not to be shoehorned into using Primaris by point costs. Acebaur
Yeah he's only 3 points more and that doesn't seem right until you take into consideration that he cant ride in any existing transport. Kind of tempers the advantages Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/336991-templar-hq-in-8th-edition/#findComment-4828365 Share on other sites

As tough al lr, worse save 3+ but have fly rule So it can fall back And still shoot, And any one ego want charge it miar substract 2 from charge roll. This is what i remember. Also ton of fire options. And wuick question. Every primaris unit has mkX armour? A And the point cost is mystery, but it is said that is a bit cheaper than lr Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/336991-templar-hq-in-8th-edition/#findComment-4828392 Share on other sites
