Hey guys there is a new FAQ up:

Lots of changes to our Wolf Guard and they changed the point cost of Ragnar and Wolf Claws. The good news is that our Wolf Guard can dual wield Plasma Pistols but I think we lost our 3rd weapon option. Terminators can take Combis and Storm Shields again though so that's useful for Pack Leaders.

Biggest WG change is that you cant take both Stormshields and Melee weapons which is a pretty big nerf.

No more SS + Frost Sword bikers.

 

Wolf claw also costs a point more which is fair since they were a +1 str Lightning claw for the cost of a normal Lightning claw. Still worth it 100% because +1 str is so good.

If I'm reading it right, no more storm shield and melee weapon cavalry either.

"Any model may replace its chainsword with a storm shield or an item from the Space Wolves melee weapons list." 

 

"Any model may replace it's bolt pistol with a boltgun, plasma pistol, or and item from the Space Wolves melee weapons list." 

 

No, TWC definitely still have the option...

I don't see that restiction guys. Wolf guard Pack Leader on bike can only swap his bolt pistol out but regular Wolf Guard and Thunderwolves can change their chainswords for shields and pistols out for melee weapons.

Page 130 – Space Wolves Chapter

Add ‘Company Ancient’ to the list of Space Marine units that can be from the Space Wolves Chapter.

Pages 150 – Grey Hunters, Wargear Options Change the sixth bullet point to read:

‘• The Wolf Guard Pack Leader may replace his

chainsword with a plasma pistol, storm shield or an item from the Space Wolves Melee Weapons list; he may also replace his bolt pistol with a plasma pistol or
an item from the
Space Wolves Melee Weapons or Space Wolves Combi-weapons lists.’

ALSO THIS :

Q: If an ability allows me to add 1 to saving throws, does it apply to both normal saving throws and invulnerable throws?

A: Yes, unless otherwise stated.

Remember that invulnerable saves are unaffected by the +1 bonus models receive to their saving throws for the benefits of cover.

No more triple weapon wolf guards but plasma pistol gun slingers are legit!

Any model may replace its boltgun with a plasma pistol, storm shield or an item from the Space Wolves Melee Weapons or Space Wolves Combi-weapons lists; it may also replace its bolt pistol with a plasma pistol, storm shield or an item from the Space Wolves Melee Weapons list.’

 

So that means I can still do th/ss  for the WG but no extra guns, which kind of makes sense since we only have two arms.

Q: If a model has two rules that allow it to ignore wounds, such as the Disgustingly Resilient ability and the Tenacious Survivor Warlord Trait, can I use them both? A: Unless stated otherwise, yes.

For example, if a model had the two aforementioned abilities and lost a wound, you could roll a D6 due to the Disgustingly Resilient ability and on a roll of 5+ that wound would be ignored. If you rolled less than 5, you could then roll another D6 because of the Tenacious Survivor Warlord Trait, and this time the wound would be ignored on a 6.

 

 

So that confirms, to those that still doubted, that bjorn can have both saves

If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

 

The only Wolf Guard who can't take dual weapons is the Swift Claw leader. I guess he needs a free hand for beating Blood Claws. That's pretty much in line with the rules for every other Veteran unit in the game.
