Sororita Katya
Hi all, have been on a hiatus but with our new injection of love I have found myself running back to them. Things I'm loving: Celestine and her chumbawumba team just getting back up and laying the hurt down, couple with a seraphim squad and even heavy vehicles and characters are sweating...literally :D Repressors with storm bolter teams Immolation flamers with heavy flamers teams Rets in the back line with HB's And a squad of 3 penitent engines (really keen to get another squad and give that a go) although them being taken off of us sucks seeing they get no AoF. Cons: Repentia still no good, ARCO flagellants do a much better job. Celestians still useless, need access to storm Shields and blessed weapons to allow them to fulfil the bodyguard role they deserve. Cannoness: great aura but can't keep up with the army and seems a waste in the back line, she's OK... But I really wanted her to shine. Exorcist:for the points they're just not good enough, and their strength means they're good infantry killers but not heavy vehicles which we have squads for that do the job better. On a side note... My entire inquisitor team has been wrecked by these new rules :'( What do you guys think of sisters in eighth? Let me know :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/337076-whats-working-for-you-in-8th/ Share on other sites
Beams
I've been having success with Repentia. They can go in a Repressor if you need a transport, and they leap out and slag heavy infantry. That said, my arcos handle light infantry much better. I usually run my Cannonesses to the front lines, throwing them and other support characters (imagifiers and priests) in a Immo, and have them ditch out behind the Repressors, so when they break, I'm there and ready to buff. My Cannoness usually doubles her points, if not more, when she starts swinging her eviscerator.
