There are many other impracticalities in Sci-Fi miniatures, of course including GW minis. The impracticality of the combat heels I find easy to overlook in favor of the aesthetic and character of the RH Sisters. Really, we're 40,000 years in the future whacking each other with swords and clubs and its OK because they have the word 'power' in front of them .

 

Back on topic, the Mother Superior Augusta is complete! When she hits the battlefield, you know :cuss just got real.

Davidians are finished!  They'll obviously be used as Repentia; I need to decide if I want to use the old GW Mistress or find a replacement out of the RH range to maybe fit in a bit better.  Looking forward to seeing these girls chopping up a Carnifex or Daemon Prince.

The Raging Heroes models look HUGE next to the Games Workshop ones. I can't help but wonder how they compare to Primaris Marines.

So it's been a while, but I've finally painted the last of the Raging Heroes TGG2 girls I backed on KS: their Knights of the Chalice.  They're clearly Terminator counts-as, but I have a total of zero other Space Marines, so I've played them in a friendly game or two as a small detachment of Custodes.  

 

I'd like to pose two questions to you, Brothers: 

 

1) which paint scheme do you prefer?  I have my preference but I'd like your input as an Im-not-crazy check.

 

2) Does anyone have a suggestion for a third-party supplier of weapons I can get to make these girls look a bit more appropriate for the job of Custodes?

This thread somehow slipped through my cracks. Firat if all: gorgeous paint jobs. I love the wings on the raging heroes saint/angel model- where the hell is that model, i cant find it on their site?

 

Your custodes count as look like custodes. The grey colour look like grey knights which is why i probably dont like them as much. The grey does make the back of the packs really pop nice. Love the shields on the golden girls...i like both schemes.

Think id have to say i like the grey scheme best on account of i really like the packs and the robe colour.
