Ciler
I'm going to be running 2 squads with Neophytes today, one with the full 10 and 10. The Neophytes as scouts thing was always something I was torn on. In the 4th edition Codex, our infiltrators were Sword Brothers but they were too expensive to fulfill a scouting role (I tried to make them work but that was just my experience). This led to us not really using infiltration. But shouldn't a well operating war machine have some sort of covert ops and scouting? Well, I agree there, after that it's all down to modeling. This is my "scout squad" : http://reho.st/self/f4dee4948d1cb478fb81eb99e5adbc2b506993cc.jpg When I play it, I just make sure to inform my opponent that every model has a 4+, the initiates have a variant of the Mk IV battle plate that is stealthier but also lighter as a consequence.
