Bloody Legionnaire
I was looking on GWs site today and notice there is no longer a Khorne Daemonkin listed under the Armies.. Do you think KDK is no longer going to be a thing for 8th edition? Panzer
No, Khorne Daemonkin are no more. However you can just mix&match any units with the Khorne faction keyword in your army as you want. Same goes for the other gods. Everyone can play a Daemonkin army now if they want to. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/337233-khorne-daemonkin-no-longer-an-army/#findComment-4835100 Share on other sites
Lay
With World Eaters on the horizon, there's probably no point in having two Khorne themed CSM armies Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/337233-khorne-daemonkin-no-longer-an-army/#findComment-4835112 Share on other sites

Bloody Legionnaire
With World Eaters on the horizon, there's probably no point in having two Khorne themed CSM armies As long as they end up with similar rules that's fine. If not... Then there is really no way to make that comparison. 1000 Sons
The army is still playable, it just uses the new summoning rules instead of the Blood tithe chart. The way they are pumping out codex books it wouldn't be impossible for gw to release a general daemonkin book for what ever God with csm cult troops you want. I'd say the chance for real Daemonkin Codices is REALLY low considering that you can do most of it with the core rules of 8th already. I want to see what they do in the deamon book... but It wouldn't surprise me to see Blood Tithe in that. It would very much surprise me to see anything philosophically similar to the old Blood Tithe, which involved getting free units as stuff died. Free units were intentionally removed from 8th. If you want to summon daemons, great, but you gotta pay for 'em. Raven1
The armies can still be played but the special rules are gone. As far as I know the blood tithe in AOS is a like a port of the KDK rules, I would be it will come back in some form eventually. Check out this review http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2017/04/goatboys-aos-blades-of-khorne-battletome.html Like I say I wouldn't be surprised to see it in the Deamon Book, having it in the marine book would cause issues talking about summoning units from another book that may not have been written at the time.
