Plus Obsidian is black, so you'd look cool with a black color scheme, which would save your boys the trouble of re-painting their armor when they take the Black Oath and pledge themselves to the Despoiler's cause. If you are going the Khornate way. Or Disciples of the crown skull. Where the gimmick would be that they are always out to find the perfect skull to crown.
