Expeditionary Fleets

Hail brothers and sisters,

 

Wasn't sure where to put this but thought here would be the best bet. I'm starting to sort out the detials of my expeditionary fleet and started to wonder what the size of a fleet is at nominal levels. I know there was Primary Fleets, Seconday Fleets and varied in size and makeup, but I was wondering if there is anything nailed down about them regard the atypical sizes of the Astartes, Solar Auxilia and Imperial Army elements in additon to the normal fleet sizes.

 

To note, I had the idea of having an detachment from each legion (the sizes of which differ from legion to legion [4^th and 13^th having larger numbers than say the 3^rd and 15^th]) and some solar auxilia and imperial army (represented by the militia force). Probably a cohort or two in the former (so 100k-200k) and a lot more for the army.

 

 

This has been bugging me and I haven't been able to find much on the subject matter. Help me, my knowledge of 30k/40k is lacking in this area and its really annoying.
