I have a really fun stand alone model idea that I want to try and build. However to do it I want the marine to be a little more physically imposing than a standard Astartes. That being said I find the Mk 10 Power Armour doesn't have anywhere near the right look for the armour I want, instead Mk III from Forge world is a much better fit.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience combining the two different sizes of marines, for example the Primaris legs with the standard marine torso/arms?

Thanks in advance

I found this photoshop image, and was going to open a thread here asking about it:

Have/can make anyone reiver/astartes torso comparison pics? Because I would love to try and make a conversion like this, but not sure if the standard torso would be too small or how much work will be needed.

This gives me a bit of hope for my idea, although want to see intercessors legs rather than Reivers for a comparison.

Anyone help a brother out.

I have found that they work really well. Have started to truescale my 30K wolves and the problem with the "normal" marines is that they have to short legs and abdomen. The torso, head, arms and shoulder pads looks good.

I have used the ashen circles legs (variant of MKIII) and any torso I like. Just place the torso bit a little higher so the model gets a natural waist and abdomen.

I don

Positive news about the arms/heads etc, but I think the consensus seems to be: wait till the multi-part kits come out to judge torso/leg combinations

I hope it works, stoked about the model idea - even though with the new codex it's impossible to field him
