Recently I played a practice game where I took an extremely inefficient army to give a friend a test game for his Death Watch. In it I faced a Corvus Blackstar and it was a nightmare.

Despite having almost no real heavy support, I still think I can do with anti-flyer boosts for the army.

I am sure a Devastator squad can put hurt on it of course and the odd Flakk missile from a Strategum is always fun (plus 1 to hit!) but I've been considering the Hunter.

It has T8 which is actually amazing. It has long range and can move and fire accurately.

Most important it has an extremely accurate lascannon. It'll be all but guaranteeing hits each turn and with a Devastator squad and Lieutenant as back up it becomes quite formidable. Indeed it'll wound most of the time too.

The beauty is also it can target ground troops well as well. Tank at the back? Rocket to the face. Vindicate taking pot shots? Much easier to hit than most other shots.

What say ye? Chronic is a tad surplus to requirements of course but he could help.

It's only 90pts which is a steal.
