So I've been playing shadow wars some lately. My Skitarii are doing well. However we ran into a situation tonight that the rules don't really cover. My buddies heavy flamer sister was on the 4th level of a structure, 12" high, my Ranger was 6" away from the structure on the ground level. He put the template straight out and said he hit. I said no because the template is only 8" and can't possibly hit me from that height. My question is who's right?

I know in the  6th or 7th rulebook it´s stated what to do with shooting from different levels, but I am not sure about SW:A.

From the logical point of view you are right. I would have said everyone will see it like this but obviously not......

It would make template weapons more than overpowered, if they could target from 100s of inch above just because the template "covers" the model....

But this thread would be better elsewhere, in the rules section for example :D
