Prot
It's great to see broken Xenos bits... great job on the rest of the fig too! ;) Very nice and clean. I can only imagine the hours put into that squad. My favorite is definitely the Sarge's Xenos blade. Very cool. I'll have to try a take on that one day. :tu:
Gabocius
Holly :cuss ! That's one hell of a kill team ! Congrats on your painting ! I especially like that the NMM of the left arms is very soft and the overall miniatures have a comic feeling. Manu Miniatures
Sword and arm took one painting session, around 6h. Achieving matt finish is very simple, you need really matt paint. I use Andrea flat black. http://www.andreaeurope.com/en/4/complements/420/andrea-new-acrylic-colours/1212/xnac-02-flat-black.html Generally Andrea New Acrylic Colors and Scale 75 paints retain matt. My works are nowhere near competition painting... for now Edited August 15, 2017 by Manu Miniatures MithrilForge 1 Back to top

sockwithaticket
My works are nowhere near competition painting... for now Dude, don't undersell yourself. You might not be ready for some of the Euro competitions where people are basically wizards at painting, but you aren't far off and this work is better than about 80% of Golden Demon entries I've ever seen. reckoning
Seriously gorgeous stuff. Some of the best black armor I've ever seen. But my favorite is the green you've used on their bolters. Recipe?

Brother Desultor
Looking at your work again, I keep getting drawn to the helmet lenses. You've painted those beautifully - would you be willing to share your process? I really struggle with those myself and would appreciate some tips if possible.
