Primaris and Older upgrade packs

Hey all

 

I was wondering if anyone knows whether the new Primaris Astartes models are compatible with older space marine parts.

 

 

Namely, I'm in the mood to make some Primaris Blood Angels, and was hoping to use the older blood angels upgrade pack to spruce them up with. Does anyone know whether the shoulder pads from these kits are compatible with the new Primaris models?

The shoulder pads from upgrade kits and older marines fit on Primaris marines.

Thanks. I'm going to preorder some intercessors and throw some Blood Angel shoulders on them.

 

 

Only downside about them is I can't use powerswords on their sergeants for some reason

Primaris shoulder pads and heads/helmets are compatible with mini-marines parts. You can also get away with hand&weapon swaps for melee options, though it's trickier on the ones where the vambrace overlaps the join. Arms, legs, packs and chests are a different size.
