Mossback
So, if a squad, for example, a Retribution Squad, is comprised of four Dominions and a Dominion Superior, is allowed to take four weapons from the Heavy Weapons list, are they allowed to take more if you increase the size of the squad by adding an additional five Dominions? This could apply to warea upgrades for any squad. The limit seems to apply to the base size of a squad, but I am unsure if doubling, or even tripling, the size of the squad would allow for additional special or heavy weapons. Any advice is appreciated. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/337579-wargear-options-question/ Share on other sites
Kapitan Montag
No, if you add more members to the squad, it doesn't allo you to take more heavy/special weapons. It just means you will have more bullet catchers to take the hits insread of your precious melta girls :) Mossback 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/337579-wargear-options-question/#findComment-4843291 Share on other sites
taikishi
It's not squad size that determines how many special or heavy weapons you get but what the squad is and how many squads you have of that type. * Each Dominion squad can take 0-4 special weapons and consists of 5-10 models * Each Retributor squad can take 0-4 heavy weapons and consists of 5-10 models * Each Celestian squad can take 0-1 special weapons and 0-1 special OR heavy weapons, and consists of 5-10 models * Each Battle Sister squad can take 0-1 special weapons and 0-1 special OR heavy weapons, and consists of 5-15 models * Each Seraphim squad consists of 5-10 models, 0-2 of which may replace its bolt pistols with two Hand Flamers or two Inferno Pistols -- and, yes , you can have one take two Hand Flamers and another take two Inferno Pistols but you can't give a model one Hand Flamer and one Inferno Pistol. * Each squad, regardless of size, only has one Sister Superior (or Seraphim Superior for Seraphim).
