Iron Hands Shoulder Trim Colour?

I'm planning on starting an Iron Hands force but wanted to know whether their shoulder trim is officially a metal colour or black. Little things like this bother me so I wanted to ask about it.

GW seem inconsistent in their images of Iron Hands and I dont know if there is a reason for this.

It's silver. I think the inconsistency you saw was a very dark silver like this:

 

 

Because I have never seen black IH shoulder trim before.

It's weird that you've never seen that, because the vast majority of GW depictions of IH have it. The black trim is the current norm.

I mostly looked at FW's 30K artwork, FW's studio 30K miniatures, and 'Eavy Metal's studio 40K miniatures. They all have silver trim. A lot of artwork is also silver trim and some metallic black trim.

 

I did find the black trim you guys are talking about though from the old 5th Edition and previous stuff. Raukaan also seems to be metallic black trim. I'll let the actual IH experts decide since I don't even study those guys much.

I'm largely going off of Raukaan, since that's the largest and most recent concentration of IH miniatures. 30k was not mentioned in the question and I didn't consider it relevant. 

 

I don't see anything metallic about the Raukaan rims. They're just black.

Look at the middle part of the bottom trim. I feel like you just want to argue with me for some reason despite the widespread existence of silver Iron Hands trim.
