MikhalLeNoir
Hey Folks, I have a lot of jetbikes and landspeeder lying around but can't bring myself to built them since I was infected by the truscale virus. How would you concert them? I had the idea to add a plastic cube between handle and seat on the jetbike. Would that work? THX for your input Edited August 7, 2017 by MikhalLeNoir Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/337770-ideas-for-truescaling-landspeeder-scimitar-jetbike/ Share on other sites
Isengrin
Apologist made a truescaled jetbike rider a while ago. Looks like you can get away without any conversion work on the bike itself, as it has enough space to accommodate a bigger marine. I have no clue in regard to the the land speeder though. Maybe you could cut away some plastic around their feet? NovemberIX
If you're talking about the Javelin that would probably require a lot of cutting and sculpting, an upscaled gunner might fit, but the pilot is going to be a whole other problem, just using regular marine parts was already starting put things out of place on my recent build of one. MikhalLeNoir
Oh really? Truscale marine fits on jetbike? Thst speed up the pricess quite a bit^^. Landspeeder I meant the normal 40k ones, landspeeder vengeance and the javelin although the javelin is on the last sot of my priority list^^. Yodhrin
madscuzzy did some wicked "pre-heresy" conversions of the plastic Speeder kits to look more like the RT and 2nd Ed versions, you'd only need to make a couple of small tweaks to the cockpit area to accommodate bigger Marines(in fact, bigger pilots would probably help "sell" the conversions as the older models at first glance): http://gravengames.co.uk/project-pre-heresy-land-speeder/ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/337770-ideas-for-truescaling-landspeeder-scimitar-jetbike/#findComment-4849531 Share on other sites
