PaddyG
Hey guys, Just a quick question since the new codex came out and power fist got cheaper. Is it ever worth it to give a terminator the chainfist upgrade for 10 points? You get an extra -1 ap and flat 2 damage, nothing to write home about. I'm asking because I just recently modeled my assault cannon terminator with a chainfist. Also, how do you guys take wounds from your terminator squads? I was hoping to leave my heavy weapons terminator as the last member, with assault cannon and chainfist. Is there any reason not to kill off the sergeant first to get rid of the powersword? Unless perhaps you're dealing with a chaff unit. Thanks! TrexPushups
Leadership is a potential worry. Other than that let The sgt eat the bullets. Frater Cornelius
If you are UM, your TDA. need to lose 3 dudes to lose one on a roll of 6 and lose 4 to lose the last one on a roll of 5+, which you can re-roll. So you can indeed eat bullets with the sergeant without major losses. As for chaff, you have your Stormbolters for that ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/337805-tactical-terminator-chainfist-and-wound-allocation-tips/#findComment-4849986 Share on other sites
