Reivars, Chaplains, similar units and Morale Tests

So Reivars and other units have an ability that say "enemy units within X subtract 1 from their leadership". How does that interact with abilities like spiritual leader, where Chaplains let other units use their leadership characteristic instead of their own.

 

Is it a -2, the Chaplain has a -1 then the squad using the Chaplain LD gets a further -1. Or is it a flat -1 because it only affects the leadership score once (I.e either the Chaplain or the Unit taking the test). If the latter

 

If I have a Reivar unit within 3" of a Tactical Squad, while the Chaplain 6" away. Does the Tactical Squad suffer no negative modifiers because they are using the Chaplain's Leadership? And by extension if the Chaplain within 3" but not the Tactical Squad. Does the Chaplain then by extension the Tactical Squad suffer a -1?

The Chaplain specifically lets the other squad use his in place of their own rather than modifying theirs to match his.

 

In the first case the tactical squad would use the Chaplain's score without modification from the Reivers.

 

In the second case the Chaplain's score would be modified, and thus the score he projects would be modified.
