DaBoiKyknos
Are the green parts all greenstuff? Very impressive, if that´s the case! They look to me like true-scale should look, meaning how I imagine a Space Marine should look. It´s very organic, like they actually came out the box like this, meaning I´m actually really in love with these! I probably never do true-scale, mainly because it´s too much effort for one "regular" mini to me, but those are top-notch! At last: How do you do something like this??? winterdyne
No, it's not all greenstuff - I use liquid greenstuff as a surfacing putty to ensure everything's smooth when I'm done. If it looks like it's one part, it's a win. Here's the WIP: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/337509-winterdyne-style-truescale-marines/ In short though, it's a case of expand the torso, hips, thighs, and soft join to shoulders. I used a 3d printed replacement belt to help keep the torso wide and add a little height at the waist. It's a bit wider and taller than a normal marine belt. All in all these were about 2 week's work.
