Ragnarr
Hi guys. I have one quick questions - is it possible to use assassins in HH? Based on HH books - they existed - but I can't find in black books. Thanks. carlisimo
There are no assassin rules yet. They may be added to the game in the Agents of the Emperor / Agents of the Warmaster category. In the meantime, some people use them in 30k (unofficially) by using their 7th edition 40k rules. My second questions - do someone has old rules for assassins? Hrolf the Cunning
I think he means the 7th ed rules so he can transpose into HH setting Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/337975-horus-heresy-questions/#findComment-4881153 Share on other sites
Caillum
Bit of a grey area with regards to acquiring the old rules. GW no longer sells "Dataslate: Officio Assassinorum", which leads to people having to find it through other... nefarious means. But as they don't sell it, it is still considered piracy? Not an expert on that one sorry. A simple Google search will find everything you need. But like carlisimo said - they will probably get official 30k rules eventually. Brother Styphus
It's still piracy. But they're out there, and shouldn't be hard to find. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/337975-horus-heresy-questions/#findComment-4881817 Share on other sites
Ragnarr
Hi guys, I would like to ask what model do you use for legion land speeder squadron? FW has javelin and tempest. Then GW has land speeder. But possible weapon options such as volkite culverin or graviton gun are not a pintle weapon like e.g. heavy bolter, multi-melta, heavy flamer are. carlisimo
The Javelin is a separate unit entry, so don’t use that. Forge World is sort-of releasing a Land Speeder with Mk VI crew based on the Rogue Trader model, but it’ll only be sold at Warhammer World and maybe events. So that’s useless for most of the world until unsavory sorts get their hands on it. It only comes with a multi-melta, I think. They said at the Weekender that they’re likely to release another Land Speeder model based on the 2nd edition version (the best-looking one, imo) with Mk IV crew. FW usually doesn’t provide all of the possible weapon options, so even after that comes out you’ll be in the same boat as if you use the 40k plastic Speeder. For the plastic model, replace the torsos and heads with Mk IV (if you can live with having the wrong arms and legs, which are more challenging to replace), and get the Graviton Gun Set or Legion Volkite Culverin Set. The culverins are easier to mount; I’d cut the hand off, turn it upside down, and attach the plastic multimelta’s rail clip (cut carefully) where the hand was. The graviton gun goes anywhere else - on the bottom mount, a handmade top mount, or maybe you cut the back off and have it sticking out of the nose. That last one is the easiest. I decided to have little bit strange WK30 land speeder unit. The "leader" land speeder is conversion of Stormrider and WK40 land speeder, but I add one additional weapon which is not in line with rules - heavy bolter operated by SW, havoc launcher (but two, one on each side) and autocannon which is not possible to equip. Almost finished :). But small modification to be in line with the rules has to be done. The second one - little bit converted Tempest - instead of autocannon I would like to add plasma cannon or graviton gun. The third, fourth and fifth - classic WK40 land speeder. Ragnarr
Hi guys. In Inferno there is mentioned in part focusing on the Censure Host. There is some infomration about all great companies. In case of great company four, The Blood-worm's Masters is in brackets "Bloodied Claw" tactical formation sub-type. In brackets in description of GC 8 is "Pale Hunter" tactical formation sub-type. Have you any idea what does it mean? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/337975-horus-heresy-questions/#findComment-5073526 Share on other sites

Ragnarr
Hi guys. I am working on my sweet Sisters of Silent . I have already checked some pictures as an inspiration for Pursuers squad (not too much I have found) but it seems that cyber-jackals have (or not, it depends on picture and author) flamer or meltgun in their mouth. But it seems not very practical. I understand that cyber-jackal is an construct but with flamer or meltgung in mouth simply cannot bite :). Thanks. Ragnarr
And last but not least - Oblivion Knight Cadre - sisies as members of this cadre can be armed by power axe. In visions there is one picture of OKC with power axes which are two-handed - more like halberds or poleaxe, than axes to be honnest. If decide to follow fluff - they has to be armed by two-handed axes. What is your opion?
