Semper Fortis
Yesterday I tried to access Lexicanum to look up some fluff. Got a 403 Forbidden. Still getting the same tonight. Anyone have a clue why? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/338077-lexicanum/ Share on other sites
Schlitzaf
No idea, I just checked and got the same from my end as well. So it's not a local issue anyways Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/338077-lexicanum/#findComment-4856106 Share on other sites
Tyberos the Red Wake
It got hacked a few days ago. The front page had a hacked message to the administrator having to do with something about backdoors. Aeternus
Couple of days ago some script kiddies hacked lexicanum, making every page show this. It was then fixed, but seeing as everything now seems to be 403, guessing the hackers had another go. Why you'd go after Lexicanum of all things baffles me though. I looked into that yesterday and apparently Lexicanum and BOLS share a domain, so the hackers may have been going after BOLS and Lexicanum got hit in the crossfire. Or the hackers are being pricks. Semper Fortis
Thank you, brothers. Glad to know it isn't on my end. I shall just wait patiently until they've recovered from the misguided jerk attack. WarriorFish
For clarification, any 400 or 500 style error on a website is on the server and not your PC/browser. Furthermore the B&C is not here to denigrate other sites, please keep that in mind when posting.
